When Sweaty Betty asked if I'd like to be one of their five inspirational women with five messages of STRENGTH, CONFIDENCE, LOVE, WARMTH and INSPIRATION, I knew it would be a meaningful collaboration. Working with this client just as I first started out modelling, gave me a level of professionalism and passion that I’ve applied to all later projects, and I couldn’t be more thankful for this opportunity.

SIGNIA
My work recently took me to Copenhagen to film this campaign with Signia. I'm loving the range of roles that are being offered to me and the variety of locations we get to film in, including this busy train station in Copenhagen. This was filmed on one of their coldest days of the year, with snow blustering and icy winds, but the film crew did a great job of creating this beautiful cinematic experience.

Volkswagen went on a worldwide search to find an actor with a genuine visual impairment for the story they had created of a young, eye patch wearing, skateboarder in the 70’s growing up to be a confident woman in present day. I am so proud to be part of a campaign that is confident enough to be inclusive.

Growing up with a disability in 1970’s England, meant that school didn’t have a place for me when it came to PE or Sports and I was often told by specialists that I will never be able to take part in normal activities. Fast forward to 2021 and it was an absolute delight to be seen by the makers of the Virgin Active campaign as a woman who could live her life to the full, given the right support and opportunities.

Chosen to embody Windstar Cruises’ ethos of adventure, style, and authenticity, I had the privilege of showcasing their intimate, immersive travel experiences on a recent week long filmshoot around the Greek & Turkish islands.. From exploring ancient ruins to golden-hour moments on deck, my role was to bring these journeys to life - genuine, unstaged, and deeply connected to the destinations.
I was selected to resonate with Windstar’s audience - proving that travel isn’t just about where you go, but how you experience it. Effortless, thoughtful, and unforgettable.

As a 54yr old, post menopausal, disabled, grey haired woman, to be chosen to model for a swimwear campaign, I feel incredible! Working with the Crew and other models on this YouSwim campaign was such a great experience for me and one that has ignited a passion in me to explore more body confidence work.

I had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Yorkshire countryside to work with Acai, a women's outdoor clothing company that encourages and embraces individuality, strength and uniqueness. An honour to be included as their first older silver haired model.
